The NASA is launching an unprecedented project: the first mission to Mars. This mission is so costly and complicated that there may never be another attempt. When they discover how risky the trip will be for the crew it is already too late. The NASA is under pressure and cannot cancel the mission. To avoid the scandal Dr. James Kelloway , the mission controller, makes a deal with the crew: the rocket will be sent with nobody on board. The four astronauts will just have to hide until the return of the rocket and then pretend to be back from Mars. But when the ship unexpectedly crashes on arrival, the situation becomes unmanageable.
