Synopsis of the Movie : Show Boat

When Julie and her husband Steve are forced to leave the Mississippi show boat they work on, they are replaced by Magnolia Hawk, the Captain's daughter and Gaylord Ravenal, a notorious gambler. The pair fall in love instantly and soon quit the boat to run away and marry. Gaylord's addiction to gambling continues and soon forces the newlyweds apart. Gaylord leaves Magnolia not knowing that she is pregnant... Can she survive?
